How does it work?

Hypnotherapy uses the subconscious mind to help you identify and release self-limiting beliefs.  We use many techniques, including guided imagery, meditation, NLP, gestalt therapy, parts therapy and dreamwork, among others – to clear the root causes of unwanted behaviour. In hypnosis, your ordinary negative thoughts and bad habit patterns can be replaced with new, more positive beliefs.

 

Through post-hypnotic suggestions, this new information can be incorporated into daily life.  Hypnotherapy can quickly bring about dramatic changes in behaviour.  Within each of us is the possibility of a fulfilling, rewarding life. But all too often, painful past experiences and limited identities keep us from realizing our true potential.

How much does it cost?

To see me, the cost is $350 for a first session and $250 for any follow up sessions.

How long are the sessions?

The first session is 90 minutes and follow ups are 60 to 80 minutes.

 

Can I be hypnotized?

 

Yes. Everyone has the ability to be hypnotized.

How does it feel to be hypnotized?

Hypnosis provides a sense of profound physical and mental relaxation that is both revitalizing and refreshing.

Will I go to sleep?

Most people don't, but now and then some people do. When in hypnosis, your subconscious will hear everything said and you are in full control.

What happens if I don’t come out of hypnosis?

This is impossible. All trances end, whether formally ended by me or ended naturally by you.

In hypnosis, will I do anything I don’t want to do or say anything I don’t want to say?

As hypnotherapists, we are seriously committed to helping you achieve your therapeutic goals. You will not ever do or say anything under hypnosis that is in conflict with your personal ethical standards and/or desires. You are in full control at all times. Our only role is to help you. Your session is also completely confidential.

How many sessions will I need?

This is different for everyone. Some people only need one, others may need up to four to six.
